Colossal Short Stories Collection App Reviews

It would be good to to have William Burroughs included I like reading and this App is good for that purpose.

There are certainly other writers Id like to see here, but this is a wonderful collection and the price is right. Vonnegut? Hopefully in the next update...

Many, many, many classic short stories for $1.99 - whats not to like?

An amazing collection of short stories which I use when I have short periods of free time, usually waiting for something or someone. I am currently reading my way through the Jack London collection and I see several other authors collections that I am looking forward to reading.

Love the new format. Clean, easy on the eyes. Not likely to use the audio feature because the computer voice is so unnatural when reading text. Might be nice to include a short bio on each author as many of the writers are not as well known and it might encourage a reader to buy an entire collection of a particular author they like. A fun way to fit in some reading while on the go. Short stories are my favorite genre and it is convenient to always have a nice collection at my fingertips. Keep adding stories!

With this collection, Im never without something to read. It has it all, from classic authors to ones that are new to me. What is even better, this app runs well, loading quickly and never crashing, even on my old iPad v1.0.

How good is a short story thats missing a chunk? Not much. Beware: Ive found quite a few unfinished works and I havent got to the Cs yet.

Ive had this collection loaded on my phone for a year. Its packed with gems! Its been so nice to have something great to read right at my fingertips whenever I find myself with a few moments of downtime.

Great stories in a great format. Most of these may not be the most well-known stories by their authors, but all the ones Ive read so far have been worth it. Reading these older stories helps sharpen my mind, with their more florid and literate prose than a lot of recent work.

The selection of works is crazy huge and quite refreshing. My bare minimum and primary expectation is well-written work. I feel lucky to find engaging content. Im not a big fiction reader partially because its a needle in haystack to find worthwhile reads. In this app I have access to a selection of quality, professional, work. Features in the app are intuitive and useful, its not cluttered or confusing - the interface is clean. Settings for font and brightness are game changers - makes a huge difference in readability.
